Firefox has problems with extensions sometimes when upgrading. Tabbed browser extensions are the main culprit. I had trouble opening new windows, and even getting extensions. This happend on two differnt upgrades. Uninstall extensions and close and reopen the browser until it's working properly again. Then you gan get the extensions fresh and it should be fine.
