I've also been a paid subscriber for awhile but stopped using it since the FF extensions had a few features that Opera didn't. Now I'm confused and don't know which to go with. As a designer it is a nightmare.

The extensions do make FF less stable. Some users will prefer tabbed browsing plus stability.

When I open lots of windows in FF I find it uses more and more memory. Up to 400mb. And it doesn't come back when closing the windows. I don't know if it's one of the extensions causing the leak or the code itself.

Will be interesting to see what people say in a couple years. Personally don't think there is any killer app in Opera to get people to switch.

Would adding extensions to Opera make it more or less viable?
