which opera have you installed ?
second ..the flash file that you download to install flash is small ( but unless it's the standalone ) it then "calls" another larger file from adobe to do the install ..and adobe do have some of the slowest servers ( or most congested )on the net ..try downloading a TBYB just after they release a new iteration of photoshop ..you could translate war and peace before it says it's finished ~:o
