thanks for that, i used them, they choked & died (so many errors), I looked and played with code then did some more searching...

while messing around I changed a setting in Opera 'Print Page Background' then reloaded page (necessary step) - Problem Fixed! How very, very weird... It had to be something silly. As said, it loads fine on normal viewing it was just struggling on print view.
