Our taxonomy ranks higher than some of the individual pages.

When a user clicks the Google link to the taxonomy, the individual page.

We are considering no-index on the taxonomy. I am not sure how to put that at the top of the taxonomy pages ONLY yet, but also considered something in the robots.txt.

Is this legitimate in the robots.txt: noindex: /?q=taxonomy/

I have seen some say this meta-tag can be used in the robots.txt.
