My team has developed a few sites where the client wanted to be able to manage content themselves and not have to hire (us ;-)) to maintain the site. We made beautiful and really elegant and simple custom CMS systems for them. To date, in 2 out of 3 cases they havent' done anything at all to the sites. In one case, our Lorem Ipsum boilerplate is still showing everywhere. The other is still showing RSS news from 2007 (it is 2010 as I write this). This is not a complaint about CMS, I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this phenomenon.
