That's not a good analogy for what this is about. This is not about making a duplicate version of anything, it's about some simple fine-tuning for one version. There is so much sloppy logic in this thread that it makes my head ache. I'm seeing a strong pattern: the posters who are the most upset and making the most excuses are unlikely to be expressing an accurate understanding of what it takes to make a site accessible. I'm seeing many opinions that are based on fear, not knowledge or sound thinking. It's ironic: if the first thing some folks had heard about accessibility was that the techniques are a reliable shortcut to better SEO, they'd be all over it thinking, "I gotta learn how to do that."
