I believe that this is probably a common attitude, though it is quite prejudiced. It is a perfect example of why the law needs to cover accessibility. The fact is that a blind people do use the web, they do buy things online and they do use the web for essential employment/business activities - quite possibly including purchasing parts for NASA. Although they might find it interesting reading, no blind person is going to be buying the space shuttle parts (literally) that we make.
