I feel like I have finally found the best possible AdSense ad unit formats and placements for good earnings.

Now that I am concentrating on usability I find that I may have to risk earnings for better usability.

For example I like the idea of putting a site search box on each page at the top of the navigation column but I wonder if that will detract people from the ads.

Does any one else find a conflict between usability and good ad placement? Any solutions?
