The percentage varies according to what kind of colorblindness. People who are achromatic are very rare. I've often seen that 2% of males are color blind (meaning dichromatic vision), but most sources say that 8% have impaired color vision. I do not have severe color blindness, but many web pages are hard for me, so I would say 8% is a good number.
