We recently moved our website to a new dedicated server that has SQL Server 2005: Studio Express.
We get about 700 unique visitors per day and we also work the customers on the same database via the web.
From time to time the database slows waaay down and it can take 30 seconds to save a customers record. (via ASP code).
Is this version of SQL server recognised as being slow? If so, is there a more powerful version that we should employ to handle our database requirements?
I'm at a loss here as to what to do and any help would be gratefully received.
