really? wow, I suspected that but didn't want to guess.

I think the success of Google advertising programs has been the ease for both publishers AND Advertisers to signup and run compains/run ads.
I know for comments that Overture advertising program is a bit picky, where Adwords would basically allow everybody to advertise.
This a real shame, then.
