Umm, no. Not quite, although that seemed to be the original plan. Maybe it kicks in later. Although I have little hope for a merger of the crippled and the clueless.

My Chitika revenue improved significantly a couple years ago, when I noticed that Chitika was serving ads from Yahoo. I wonder if this is why publishers are being forwarded to Chitika?

I am in the process of moving many ads from YPN over to Chitika. I have noticed, that for many pages, the IDENTICAL ads showed up from Chitika, INSTANTLY, with the added image to the left of the links.

So, as far as the MS merger, right now, it looks FAR MORE like a Chitika merger. We shall see. Time will tell. Plus any other platitudes that you prefer.

It is looking pretty good so far. Chitika targeting is FAST, if they have related ads. CTR is about 8 times as good as YPN was, and the mean payout click is about 5 cents, the same as YPN was. Those images next to the ads REALLY boost CTR. So good in fact, that at some crunch point, I suspect that AdSense will re-allow images, and actually supply them. IMHO.
