That caught my eye too... after how many years YPN was still in beta?

Clearly I don't know the intricacies of operating a contextual ad network (I just know YPN didn't work) but it always seemed it would be a slam dunk to be successful by just copying everything Adsense did.

I thought the rip-off approach was SOP for these firms (as in "Pirates of Silicon Valley). I doubt that there have ever been more than 20 substantial, original ideas in the whole history of computers and the web .
