I've seen abysmal clicks and earnings from YPN ads for RSS. I think there are a few issues. First, by comparing stats (feed views vs. ad views), I've concluded that the vast majority of readers don't display the ads, at least using Yahoo's code and placement recommendation. Then, for the comparatively low number of RSS ad exposures, the CTR seems to be extremely low, too.

I've left the code in some feeds, but more as an experiment than with any expectation of enough revenue to buy a cup of coffee.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has found a way to actually succeed, even modestly, with YPN RSS ads.

It would be great to have a good solution for monetizing RSS, as on some of my sites the RSS pageviews are growing at a significantly faster rate than html views.
