I've a 2008 reference where the IP entered with a valid search referral, while using a then valid UA.

"Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30; InfoPath.1)"

They were full pages requests with supporting files.

The down side of the pages that were requested, the content (request for the next page) was faster than most folks are capable of reading.

In addition some of the requests were duplicated by Bluecoat.
