I remember some time back seeing that Google was offering a (free?) pilot project to selected business.

The interface on the panoramic photo is similar to the one used on street view, but with only one camera location. I'm sure this works well for some businesses, as it's a very attractive type of interactive display. Hard to say whether it's cost effective for everyone.

Some years back, I'd planned to use a panoramic display (not supplied by Google) on a site rebuild I was pitching to a client, as it can be a good way to show locations.

(In Firefox, I should note, the photo interface on the demo page was buggy).
