I have a couple of questions about google places (previously Local Business Center). I have tried to research these but have not been able to find what I am looking for. So here goes:
1) We have over 1000 listings which we want to submit to Google Places as we are agents them. Obviously we want to adhere to Googles policies and not impersonate the business but rather submit the information we have on the business to google, therefore, from what I have observed, we would have to use bulk upload - if you do them individually then you have to verify the submission, which then makes google think you are the business owner. Is this correct?
2) We obviously chose to do a bulk upload as appose to adding these individually. This is fine, as long as you know ALL the rules that you have to adhere to. For instance, we did an upload and after a while everything was Dissaproved for reasons such as Excessive puntuation, using the words "Five star" and "cul", Excessive capitalisation and this list goes on. Unfortunaltely I have not been able to find any authoritive source which goes into detail on what is not allowed. So does anyone have any idea if such a list exists?
3) We have a review system in place. I have seen that on Google Maps when you view the information of a business it has reviews by other people but also from other websites. So for example say you have business A in google maps, it could have reviews from multiple websites "attached" to its listing. My question is: Have these reviews just been picked up by google, or are they being submitted by the respective websites?
Any help on the above is much appreciated.
