As reported on the Yahoo Local Blog, Search Circles [ylocalblog.com] have been added to Yahoo Local.

It's a neat little feature (although not in any way 'innovative' as they suggest - more a natural progression) that makes it easier to change the radius of a search, something that seems to be more intuitive on a map than just picking a text based search radius.

It'll be interesting to see how people react to this, especially when a couple of different categories are being searched at the same time.
