I too did the postcart and they sent it within two weeks. It just has a PIN on it. However, the postcard also got lost before i was able to use it, and when I went to the site to re-send it, I saw the option to validate by phone, and that took 30 seconds. 29 seconds involved using the right phone (there were two lines at the business).
