I agree that in the rush for new features the data quality seems to be overlooked and to be honest that is the most important thing. I like maps and pictures as well as the next guy but when I pull up a site I am looking for a quick search and accurate information. The extra info is great and we are discussing upgrading everyone of our basic listings to what we call enhanced with hours etc and eliminating the basic listing altogether. Everyone is in the business white pages and if you send in the update form you are listed in the yellow pages and if you pay you are a premium listing. That way our data becomes more valuable but again I need to be able to keep up with it and I know most of our users are more concerned with basic accurate data that is easy to search.

Oh, for the old days when there was one yellow page book and all we did was send them lots of money for an ugly ad. We did not have to make all these decisions. See what technology is doing to us. (Can you say paperless office?)
