That's because right now, small local businesses aren't seeing tremendous results from online advertising. There is no buzz. It's the whole chicken and the egg thing. But if and when that changes, even little mom and pop shops will make sure they are listed online - the same way they make sure they are listed in the yellow pages. If for no other reason than the fact that everyone else is doing it ...
