Vista will be welcomed by both businesses and consumers. Any improvement - no matter how small - in security features is welcomed by businesses looking to protect their intellectual capital.

From a consumer standpoint, you need to recognize the importance of "eye candy." Microsoft is bridging the gap between the traditional personal computer and home entertainment. That's not going to happen with a command line prompt.

And I'm not some MS loving groupie. I build my own PCs. I've got a dual boot machine that took less than an hour to install Windows on and literally weeks to get Linux stable. Like it or not, that's reality.
