---- XP Registry - Prevent start menu icons from being removed from memory?

JAB_Creations - 3:05 am on Feb 20, 2010 (gmt 0)

I use XP and the classic start menu, a very well organized classic start menu at that.

However XP keeps unloading the icons from memory numerous times every day and half the time I end up having to recount what program I was going to load before having to go through the folders to keep it from slowing down for every menu I move past to get to the program I want to open.

I'm sure it's a registry setting somewhere though I have not been able to find it. If for some reason the thread grows too old to reply I would appreciate a private message seeing as I don't think this will get answered too quickly (and if it is that would be truly awesome!)
