I had no problem of slow down with xp sp2 until i installed sp3

I dont have xp sp2 otherwise i would go back to it. this sp3 costed me 132 Euros last year and i dont like vista neither.

you formatted and installed XP sp3 on a freshly formatted disk ?..or was SP2 on another machine ?

missed the first time about command line dos window probs ..that sounds very like SP3 install is bad ..
