If as it appears you already had MySql on your machine when you installed SP3 ..I agree with Bill, Tangor and Kaled ..either uninstall SP3 ..or uninstall and reinstall MySql following Kaled's steps ..
I'd actually uninstall SP3 ..reinstall it ( very carefully and uninstall your security software first )..then reload Mysql ( as per Kaled's steps ) ..test drive ..then if all is OK ..put back whatever security software you have ..and test drive again ..
