Im now out of ideas, so will probably do what i first thought and have a proper cleanout and re-install of all software. Cheers
Well many thanks for all the ideas guys, but alas the problem persists. I changed the program to manual, and disable, and on both occasions it stopped the applications in there tracks. So a no go.
