I use a now-obsolete program put out by the same people as CuteFTP. After I upgraded to IE7, I had trouble uploading to one website but no problems uploading to a second one. Hadn't heard about the IE7 problem, so I figured it was probably something going on with the host, since one site was affected and one wasn't (with the affected one, I got an immediate "can't connect" message). Tried again later and no problems with either.

I'm on XP, in case that makes a difference. It'd be interesting to know if those who had problems and those who didn't are on different OS's.

Thanks for the information. Even if it's going to be a spotty/intermittent/occasional problem I'd want to get it fixed.
