I had to terminate OE yesterday and loose all my data, you can imagine that i wasnt happey with it. Regarding crashed application and saving the data. Vincevincevince,
Kaled,
I have tried to terminate other running processes, but it didnt helped.
Then i have tried to terminate couple of trheads of OE thru Process Explorer, but it didnt worked out again.
I have also tried stand by mode,i have tried sleep instead but i guess they do the same thing from the point of process re-freezing.
Outlook 2003 or later MS Office has crash recovery program which in theory, once any Office application crashes, should bring it back to life.
How do they do that?
If an application is open and even if it doesnt save unsaved work in tmp files but i am able to see my unsaved work on screen then i guess there is a place to copy that application, from RAM or tmp files?
Unfortunally that wasnt the case as well,i gave it 20 hours to get alive.
