I don't remember winders doing that! Firefox does that even on M$.... although any reason to switch off M$ is a good reason. The only reason I have it at home is it is easy for my girlfriend and my son to use.
Just switched over to Ubuntu Linux a few weeks ago, and now I feel so good. In fact, this this text area I'm writing in is being spell checked for me as I write, by default.
