I reluctantly started using Windows 95, then 98 (which I actually liked) and then was forced to XP. They all run slower than their predecessors, require more hardware, and are a pain in the posterior to a developer who likes to be in control (but still leave Linux standing). No doubt one day I shall be forced to upgrade, and then spend months having to rewrite my software to work with the new system <g> Matt
