---- Technical term for retrieving domain e-mails via an ISP

Hi,

Hope someone can help with an issue which I am finding really difficult to articulate. Hope what's writen below will give you an idea of what I mean:

I use a particular company to go online and have a personal e-mail account with them which I access via Outlook.

I have also just purchased a domain name and they have given me an e-mail account to go with this domain. I have a ‘Forwarder’ facility set-up with this so any e-mail sent to my domain will automatically be forwarded to my personal account.

Now if I reply to the e-mail that was sent to my domain e-mail, my outgoing message will show my personal e-mail address, but I want it to show my domain e-mail address.

I gather that the way around this is to remove the ‘Forwarder’ facility and to just set-up a new e-mail account in Outlook with my domain name. But there's a problem because my ISP does not support this and I am not able to do this whilst online with them.

I have e-mailed several companies / ISPs to enquire whether they can help but half of them haven’t bothered to reply and the other half do not know what the hell I am talking about!

Can anyone please advise on what the technical term is for what I am trying to do?

Thanks in advance
