I pay £29 a month for a half megabit, same as yours, which just now is around $55 (yearly contract, I believe the price is down now).

I've noticed that alot of the UK broadband providers are also putting caps on usage. AFAIK when I signed up I didn't have one. Maybe that's the price of cheap broadband for some people, a cap on the usage.
