This machine will be running Windows 8, so I won't need separate drivers?

I've perused that Wikipedia article, but I'm still not sure if this sort of drive is too cutting edge or not? (My SAS drives apparently were.) Should I stick with 7200RPM SATA? Some of these 512e/4K drives apparently spin at 10K RPM.
