Ok I'm a total newbie when it comes to this stuff so please bare with me. I am setting up MS SQL server 2003 on a dedicated system and I wanna set up Active Directory (win svr 2003). Though, I'm not sure if I should run AD by itself on a separate machine or run it on the same machine as the SQL sever. It would make sense to say run it alone (for growth reasons) but what the monkey do I know!?! So what do you guys think? Is it fairly common to run AD on system by itself?
