You must not travel.
Handheld GPS navigation makes travel so easy it's silly.
Running out of gas? Add the gas station layer and plot a side trip.
Hungry? Add a restaurant layer and plot a side trip.
Need a grocery store? You get the idea...
I have a stand alone GPS.
I don't know but I did plenty of traveling in days before cell phones were even wide spread and some how I survived and found gas, food, hotels and even discovered ways around car accidents.
I can read exits signs that have the gas logo on it just fine thank you haahhaah
I even flew to LA and managed to get back and forth from my hotel to santa monica on the BUS using such things called a "map" and "talking to people"
call me a cave man I know I know! But im not even that old.
some people depend on these electronic nannies so much if you took it away from them they couldn't find their car in a parking lot or the way back to their own house.
