I use both a laptop and desktop at home and at work. Both my desktops have dual monitors which greatly increases my productivity. Both my laptops are for personal email and chat. Keeping chat and personal email on my laptops helps make chatting / emailing kind of annoying for me since it really distracts me by having to go to a different machine. My laptop at work is a Mac (for testing) and my laptop at home is Vista (also for testing)
