Looking at the source code, there is no reason why it should "blink" ( hasn't got the tags)...and it doesn't in Opera either ..which is A Good Thing.TM.
Blink text is A Bad Thing.TM
There are other ( kinder on the eyes and the aesthetic sensibilities ) ..ways of drawing attention to text.;-)
Looking at your source ( ouch.. template stuff ) IMO ..you may be overstuffing your metas a tad there ;-)
