Spinning, blinking things make reading difficult. If I want to watch a movie, I'll go to the movies. If I want to read a book, I don't go to the movies. The minute the internet becomes mostly about watching cartoons, and a lot less like reading a book, I'll eat my words. I'm being a bit facetious, but IMHO Flash is very seldom necessary on the web. It is almost always used for spurious reasons. There are exceptions. Not many. Some.
Please explain the relevance of identitfying media which is not capable of offering animation.
