Break your contacts down into separate Lists and then allow or deny portions of your profile/information.


Thanks for the above suggestion. It's not intuitive, but it's easier than I thought. Go to Edit Friends under Account (in the upper right of Home)... then, under Lists (on the left of the page that comes up) click Friends, specify a new list name, highlight a friend or friends, and add them to this new List. You can then set permissions for this List.

But, I'm still not seeing how to block Fan Page suggestions, and it may be there isn't one.

My earlier comment...
...it's not possible, from what I can determine, how to keep marketer friends as friends, but, at the same time, to keep them from spamming you with invitations. It's a setting that's badly needed.


To put this in perspective, today I received fourteen (14) Fan Page suggestions from a marketer "friend". I've for now kept him on my Friends list and also included him on a separate List, called "spammers", but for the life of me, I see no way to block Fan Page requests.

Do I need to de-friend him, or is there a separate way to block these?
