just went for a test drive, and it appears they may be publishing tweets for people with more followers higher up in the results; they still provide chronological order, however, it appears the more influential or 'followed' user will be published above those users that posted a tweet simultaneously, or around the same time period - e.g. 5 minutes ago @user with 500 followers ranks above @user1 with 100, who ranks above @user2 with 50.
