Define "lose my connection to the network". How do you know this? What is the symptom? I know it's obvious to you - it isn't to us. You haven't given us enough information.

My computer pops up a message "network connection lost" and the page refuses to load. Any other programs that were using the connection are interrupted. I do eventually get my connection back, but it is putting me off from using that site.

The only other time I have had this happen to me was when I was running a logfile analysis program that did DNS lookups and it interrupted my connection.

I have tried using someone else's computer and got the same message.
