I have been a member of Facebook now for 3 months after setting up on Myspace.

What i really like about it is exactly what you touched on. It has been really thought out. It is user friendly and i just love the simplicity of it. I wouldnt worry about the Login page, they are just following the cues of Google et al.

I think the demographics are a better oppertunity for advertisers too as it was started and meant for the College community. So you have a central place where students all over the world are now moving out into the working environment and still using your product whereas myspace seems like it is flooded with high school students.

Myspace is a haze of confusion in comparison
