The whole time it was down I noticed that I was able to access everything via POP3 and IMAP. Sending and receiving worked normally. Just the web interface was out of commission from the looks of things on my end. Points to consider:
I think I shall enable the Offline function for all my accounts. I have all my accounts set for POP3 or IMAP access. I've always got a complete backup on Outlook. I may reconsider putting more accounts on Gmail. The problem is that neither Yahoo Mail or Hotmail have anywhere near the functionality of Gmail. What's a good alternative?
