I'm getting involved in a labor dispute with my company and I've started by asking the staff and teachers whose email addresses I have from normal communications between staff and teachers and asking for their opinions. My question is how hard is it for an employer to cause me trouble with Gmail and ask them to terminate my subscription because I have done this? How far does Google go in investigating a complaint? I've not been malicious, nor did I use profanity, nor say anything bad about the company or anyone in the company. I only stated that the labor contract the company is forcing employees to sign has sections that are illegal and asked for opinions on what can be done. Would the Google folks at least ask for a copy of the email? I think that would be enough for them to see that my email did not violate the terms of service. Oh yes, this company is a dispatch company, so we are mostly part-time workers that each use his/her own email account to maintain communication with the company, so I don't think we are violating any terms of service stipulations about using the account for other than personal use. In other words, it's being used just like the telephone or fax machine. That shouldn't be a problem, right? One more thing, do any of you have a phone number I could use to call Google directly and ask them about this? Or an email address other than <support'at'something>? I already know that support'at'something is only good for the most basic of non-emergency events. Thanks for any advice. And Happy Holidays to everyone! But make it a safe holiday season, okay!
I can't seem to find anything on this, and I'm not even sure I'm in the right forum, but I need to ask something about Gmail specifially, but probably relates to any of the mail servers.
