Of course it would be wrong but I don't think anyone is suggesting that any current package would offer the same advice or come to the same conclusions. ;)

WPG was excellent back then. I used it when I started out and I learned a lot about SEO from it ... and it worked! There are still some quite important on page factors to be considered in SEO along with the newere off page factors. Any current package designed along the same lines for today, which could guide people through the morass could be equally useful.
