Yes, I know there's a domain-name forum but this doesn't "feel" like a domain-name question.

For the people who understand how this stuff works:

When you establish a non-commercial www site, and later on bring in someone to maintain it day-to-day, is it standard practice to let that person register the domain in his name? Are there arguments one way or the other?
