If its decent in serps the hyphenation does not really matter they click either way whether its hyphenated or not. As far as offline marketing and word of mouth I hate having it hyphenated..lol There IS STOCK in its age in the search engines eyes, not a lot but some. I would suggest find someone that is IN THAT NICHE and see if they want it. I definitely would not just let it expire.. recycle it, either by updating it or selling it to someone, seriously! Nothing wrong with a hyphenated name in my book. I have a 10 year old website and that is my main earner (x,000.00! per month) 90% of traffic is straight from the Big 3 search engines.
