I'm creating a site for a company that has provided services (retail infrastructure and installation) to high-end retailers in Manhattan.

Do I need permission to use their logos in the new site?

And assuming that I don't get permission can I use photos of the exterior of their stores?

Wondering where the lines of intellectual property rights are on this issue.
