I am definitely anti-PFI, as it exists now, after my most recent experiences. It's one thing when it actually works as advertised, but I have yet to see one which provides the benefits promised. Of all the domains I manage, the ones which HAVE NOT been PFId rank far better than those which have been, on the same engines. They've ALL apparently forgotten who is their lifeblood. Like every other business, they need to think long and hard: who can I really survive without? [a few top paying advertisers with a very narrow focus] or [wide and varied websites' content and the end-users/searchers who are looking for it] and THEN decide who they need to appease most!
Great Post SkiBum. BTW, specifically what types (brands) of "trusted feeds" are you referring to when talking about wonderously benefitting ranking if you don't mind sharing.
